How it began
Revvards connects back to my father’s business, and to a retail client with turnover of more than ₹150 crore for whom we had built a complete ERP. The client asked us to help track referral performance. In a paint shop, for example, painters recommend the shop to customers and receive a referral amount. We wanted to connect that relationship to the product and the sale, using QR codes that shops could use for billing and workers could scan to earn rewards and redeem them with the shop.
— Veera SanakaThe problem
A paint shop may win a customer because a painter recommended it. Similar relationships exist across hardware, sanitary, and kirana retail. Shops need to understand which referrals generate business, calculate the associated reward, and keep a clear record of what each person has earned and redeemed.
What it does
Shops can print product QR labels and use the same codes for billing and worker reward claims. A painter, plumber, carpenter, cook, or other participating worker can scan a code, earn eligible rewards, and redeem them with the shop. Invoice-linked eligibility and business-specific wallets help keep purchases, claims, and balances connected.

- 03Worker rewards, balances, and redemption with the shop
- 04Invoice-linked eligibility and programme reporting
Why I’m building it
Retailers can see the value of the people recommending their business, while workers have a clearer way to follow and redeem the rewards they earn. The aim is to make an everyday business relationship easier to measure and manage.
